Salt & Light Productions is the performing arts ministry within Charis Christian Church. The importance of the arts is often overlooked in ministries because many people do not understand how it connects people and touches hearts. Our goal is to use this powerful medium to reach people with the Good News!
It is not uncommon that people will attend a church service at Christmas time or Easter, even if they don’t regularly attend. With this in mind, we know how important it is to share the gospel in those two special celebrations every year.

Crystal Schmahl: Crystal has worked in theatre for 52 years; acting, teaching, directing, and producing in both Minnesota and Arizona. She has taught acting with Homeward Bound Theatre Company, Chanhassen, MN. Participated on the Board of Directors for Mesa Encore Theatre in Mesa AZ. She has volunteered with East Valley Children’s Theatre, Mesa AZ. Currently, she is a Certified Production Assistant specializing in Script Supervisor/Continuity Coordinator working on film sets throughout Arizona.
